The Bends
Shadow's Bliss
Fade
"If you like reading
about twisted, depraved,
self-hating, low-lifes, you
will love this book." -
Producer David
Silverman
"I've never hated and loved a character as
much as Thomas Greene. At once both
disgustingly depraved, yet unable to help
himself, his self loathing comes across as
universal, albeit in his case a bit more
deserved. Darren Smith has mastered the art of
forcing his anti-protagonist down our throat,
and making us beg for more."
"It is a rare instance that
a piece of literature
manages to successfully
convey the baseness of
human nature in such a
palatable format."
"Humor, thrills, and
tears. A MUST HAVE!!!"
"This book is indispensable for
anyone pursuing a show
business career."
"Well-written, with lots of
surprises."
"A reflective
masterpiece."
"Every actor should own this
book." - Richard Montoya
"Quintessential New
York."
"Great, clever writing. A
unique intelligent study
of the contemporary
New York social habit -
and how it all clicks for
an individual trying to
survive in it.."
"The Fade works on so
many levels. The love
between the characters,
both minor and major,
touches you forever."
" It's been quite a while
since I read a book that
kept my attention for
more than 15 minutes,
but The Fade did so
beautifully."
"A beautifully written
tour-de-force, a
wonderful example of a
passionate writer's take
on a love story."
"An entertaining and
engaging read."
